Job Description
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in alignment with project requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Document software design and implementation details to facilitate ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
- Engage in peer code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of team development practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
- Continuously explore and suggest new technologies or tools to enhance team productivity and code quality
The Successful Applicant
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in senior-level roles.
- Experience in the banking or fintech sector, working on secure, scalable applications.
- Proven experience in Agile and DevOps environments, contributing to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Certified Java Developer (or equivalent in other relevant programming languages like .NET, Python)
- Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) or equivalent
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer)
