Job Description:

We're looking for a Senior Risk Reporting Analyst to join our GRC team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to produce management and risk reports for different Risk Officers across Manulife's Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in audit control processes to assess risk mitigation and identify where additional controls are needed
• Track existing and proposed controls by creating and updating tracking spreadsheets
• Meet with operational teams to understand current controls, gaps and work to identify potential improvements
• Perform independent monitoring and testing of internal control within the operational teams, provide suggestions to improve any weaknesses loopholes to enhance the control framework, recommend changes to processes and procedures and follow-up to ensure all corrective actions are implemented completely

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Power Platform (Power BI, Power pivot, Power Automate and Power App) and/or SQL with large enterprise level data sets

At least 2 years of experience in the financial service industry, ideally at large multinational investment management companyAmenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)

Understanding of various financial instruments (fixed income, equity, derivatives, alternative investments) and operating model of an asset management company

Proficiency in MS Office suite particularly Outlook, Word, and Power Point

Advanced knowledge in Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must; VBA is a plus)
