Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description

1. Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases

2. Develop, maintain and execute automated tests and their associated test libraries, utilities and tools

3. Develop, maintain and execute manual tests if necessary and create plan of action for automation

4. Develop, maintain, and execute non-functional tests including but not limited to user acceptance tests, performance tests and security tests and create plan of action for automation whenever applicable

5. Design systems and applications and assure testability based on functional and technical requirements

6. Write or generate test reports and analyses from executed automated or manual functional and non-functional tests

7. Develop and maintain relevant CI/CD pipelines and jobs

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Scala, Groovy, C#, C, C++, or JavaScript.
• Solid experience with at least one open-source test automation framework (e.g., Behave, Cucumber, Robot Framework).
• Familiarity with various software engineering tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, Docker, and Bash.
• Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD practices.
• Experience with at least one database technology (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with container technology (e.g., Docker, LXC) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud and cloud-native solutions is a plus.
