We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a good experience in Robot Framework and here are the requirements for the role:
- 5-12 years experience with at least 3-5 years continuously on test automation.
- Can independently run automation scripting and framework maintenance activities with minimal supervision
- Experience on UI automation (ie. Selenium, Robot Framework) and database automation (ie, Java/Python).
- Good knowledge of SQL, Unix, Cucumber.
- Experience in Rest API automation testing via Rest Assured / Robot Framework or any other tool technology
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- A fast learner who displays initiative, teamwork and a great attitude
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- The ability to work effectively with clients, development teams, business, senior managers and other team members
- Strong sense of ownership with a passion for testing and delivering quality software
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Capable of working under time pressure
- Capable of working thru vague specifications and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations
Other Characteristics:
- Strong background across the entire QA lifecycle including following technical skills/exposure:
- Test management and test pack creation software
- Defect Management tool
- Well versed in Software Quality metrics and how it related to the Sprint, Release and Product
- Understanding of Financial Services industry domain, ideally with some exposure to Trading or front-to-back banking processes, highly preferred
- Prior experience in automation testing, highly regarded
