SUMMARY
As a Product Manager, you'll be leading the charge in shaping Maya's credit payment solutions within the dynamic landscape of the Philippines Fintech industry. Your responsibilities will include steering the strategic direction, development, and optimization of payment platform features, ensuring they are aligned with consumer business goals and regulatory requirements. This role demands a combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise in payment systems, stakeholder and partner management, and a hands-on AGILE approach to the product development lifecycle (PDLC).
NATURE OF WORK
In this role, you will primarily oversee the management of the core payment system, as well as the following key responsibilities:
- Credit Payment Portfolio Management: Direct the development and management of our payment portfolio tailored to the unique needs of the Philippine consumer market. Utilize customer insights to refine and expand our payment offerings.
- Payment Systems Management: Utilize your expertise in payment systems to streamline processes and features related to payment issuance, account management, and transaction tracking. Manage the engineering roadmap to ensure timely updates and enhancements.
- Payment Card Personalization: Oversee the intricacies of payment card personalization processes, ensuring seamless production and customization of Maya payment cards. Manage relationships with personalization bureaus and logistics partners.
- Scheme Partner Engagement: Effectively manage relationships with scheme partners, such as Visa and Mastercard, to ensure alignment with industry standards and leverage partnerships for product enhancements.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of payment products. Analyze acquisition rates, usage patterns, and customer satisfaction to optimize performance.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis within the Philippines Fintech landscape to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes, informing our payment product roadmap.
- User-Centered Design: Advocate for user-centered design principles to ensure intuitive, user-friendly products that meet customer needs.
- Risk and Compliance: Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure products comply with relevant regulations and security standards set by regulatory authorities.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and customer insights to drive product enhancements, optimize user experiences, and maximize revenue.
- Collaborative Cross-Functional Work: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development, marketing, and customer engagement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS This section contains the required education and experience for the role.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field
- At least 8-10 years of experience in credit payment product management, with a focus on card management systems, card embossing, and scheme transaction processing.
- Proven track record of successfully developing, launching, and managing credit payment products, particularly with hands-on experience in card issuance processes. High proficiency of AGILE development methodologies.
- Preferably with an understanding of financial services operations, regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
