DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Co-leads research, ideation, and brainstorming for pitch proposal or organic client's new requirement
Co-leads development of communication plans based on client's brief (PR, events, marketing executions and talent/influencer proposals)- Presents communication plans to client
Supporting the Account Director, the Senior Account Manager ensures and strengthens client's confidence in the servicing team and in the company
- Assigned to manage independently several small accounts or major projects of large accounts, with guidance from a more senior staff as appropriate
Takes an active role in managing the client's expectation based on the signed contracts, by leading the timely delivery of all work streams related to his/her assigned accounts or projects- Attends servicing meetings with clients to learn client briefings, report on work progress and post engagement updates, clarify expectations, counsel client relating to the project, present directions, or seek client's approval for plans
Attends to client's needs, requests, and inquiries
- Manages and accounts for the client's budget and team's manhours, as indicated in the approved Retainer Contract, Scope of Work, and Third-Party Cost Estimates
Monitors the progress of work and provides client with work progress reports.- Identifies problems or gaps that may arise in the implementation of programs and provides solutions for these gaps
Supervises work streams and ensures team's compliance to standard team processes
- Leads the post-project evaluation to assess the project's impact and results against the pre-determined goals and objectives
Prepares and submits to client the post-project or campaign reports including final materials for credentials and documentation, accomplishment report, photo or video documentation report, and final artwork compilation- Ensures that team provides liquidations within the timeline set by Finance
Spearheads event management and execution
- Seeks/grants approval of outsourced suppliers and all event materials
Leads alignment with suppliers, client, and the whole team- Monitors project trackers and leads alignment meetings with the internal team
Manages team's man hours and provides guidance in the delivery of direct reports accountabilities to maximize team performance
- Supports the Associate/Account Director and Client Services Director and the Human Resources Unit in screening and recruiting potential team members, assessing performance, and recommending career plans
Ensures that direct reports comply with company policy on the timely submission of timesheets- Plans accurate project budget and monitors expenses; Ensures optimal use of client's approved funds and resources
Coordinates with assigned Finance Officer and reports projects ready for billing
- Provides support to Billing and Collection Officer in collecting billable items
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication, Social Sciences, or related field
At least 4 - 5 years of work experience in communication field, with at least 2 years in a public relations agency setting- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
Successful handling of difficult accounts while in an Account Manager or equivalent position outside the company may be considered as an advantage.
