Qualifications & Experience
- Good knowledge of the Philippine power sector
- Minimum 5 years experience in the design or executions of power systems, renewable energy power plants, substations, or transmission related projects
- AutoCAD Proficiency
- Familiar and knowledgeable with PSSE or ETAP (in using Short Circuit Analysis, Grounding Calculation, Load Flow, and Arc Flash Analysis).
- Can do illumination Calculations using Dialux for indoor and Outdoor applications.
- Good Written and Oral Communication Skills (English)
- Knowledgeable with Insulation Coordination Study.
- Familiarity with HV/MV Equipment Specification
- Detail Oriented and can work with minimum supervision
- Willing to be relocated or capable of conducting site detailed investigation
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Licensed Engineer.
- Knowledge and experience on undertaking electrical designs in renewable energy power plants (i.e. solar, wind, hydropower, or biomass) such as: plant layouts, substation scheme configuration, general arrangement plan section, elevation grounding layout, lightning protection, cable tray system, conduit system lighting, power layout, load schedule balancing, AC distribution (scheme configuration for distribution) DC Distribution Comprising (Familiarity with Battery Systems, Inverter, and Charger Rectifier), Auxiliary Systems such as CCTV Systems, ACAMS Systems, and Structured Cabling, etc.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support the Power Group in growing the business including performing business development initiatives
- Lead or support the implementation of power projects with various Clients
- Acts as Design Team Lead for the interdisciplinary team implementing a specific power related projects that collaborates to assess technical problems seen during the preparation of design documents and recommends solutions as applicable
- Evaluate and check complex design documents: design criteria, design reports, technical provisions, technical data sheets, plans, calculation sheets adhering to design specifications, guidelines and standards
- Conducts actual inspection of substation sites, coordination meetings, and other complex design-related activities on various stages of project implementation and collaborates with the other project members in assessing technical problems on the construction and recommends solutions
- Perform other tasks and functions as necessary
