Qualifications:-Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
(Masters degree is a plus).
-5-10 years Proven experience as a Performance Test Engineer or similar role
-Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) and scripting
languages (e.g., Java, Python).
-Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
-Familiarity with performance monitoring and profiling tools.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
-Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
-Plan, design, and execute performance tests to evaluate the responsiveness,
stability, and scalability of software applications and systems.
Test Script Development:
-Create and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g.,
JMeter, LoadRunner) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
Test Data Management:
-Develop and manage test data sets that represent realistic usage patterns and load
profiles.
Load Generation:
-Configure and manage test environments to simulate real-world user loads, including
peak usage scenarios.
Monitoring and Analysis:
-Monitor and analyze system performance metrics during tests, identifying
performance bottlenecks, and suggesting improvements.
Reporting:
-Prepare detailed performance test reports, including findings, recommendations, and
performance metrics.
Collaboration:
-Work closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to address
performance issues and optimize system performance.
Continuous Improvement:
-Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in performance testing
and actively contribute to process improvements.
