Job Description

The Payroll Senior Associate will oversee and execute higher-level payroll functions for HC Global's USA, Canada, and India offices. This role involves managing complex payroll-related financial statement work and handling ad-hoc assignments from the CFO. The role is fully remote, with the expectation to work US hours.

As Senior Associate, you will be responsible for such duties and responsibilities that are normally associated with your position, which include, but are not limited to the activities enumerated below:
  • Manages and executes payroll processes for employees in the USA, Canada, and India;
Oversees payroll-related financial statement preparation and reporting;
  • Ensures compliance with payroll laws and regulations in all jurisdictions;
Handles complex payroll tax filings and ensure timely compliance;
  • Addresses and resolves payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees and management;
Leads the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and processes;
  • Collaborates closely with HR and other departments to maintain accurate employee data;
Supporst the CFO with high-level financial and payroll-related projects;
  • Ensures the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality.

In addition to the above functions, you may also be expected, from time to time, to assist in other non-operations work, as the need arises, and as determined by your superiors, the CFO, and the Managing Directors.
  • Job Specifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3 consecutive years of full-time experience in payroll;
Extensive experience in payroll functions for the USA, Canada, and India;
  • CPA license is a plus;
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance;
  • Advanced proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite;
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
