Roles and Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage network solutions that form the core infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across private, virtual private, and public cloud environments.
Collaborate with the team to identify network and system needs, monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues, and implement improvements
- Deliver project management for network activities encompassing upgrades, deployments, and migrations. Provide technical guidance and user support as required. Develop, maintain, and update documentation covering the network environment and operational procedures.
- Generate reports and detailed documentation outlining findings, implemented solutions, and recommendations for further enhancements. Oversee network environments to maximize performance, scalability, and minimize downtime.
- Regularly communicate with network users and managers to understand their evolving needs and keep them informed. Design and implement network components, including procurement of necessary equipment.
- Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Coordinate network access and usage
- Be available to provide on-call support as needed
- Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:
- o Network Infrastructure & Hardware: 5+ years experience with a strong focus on Palo Alto and Panorama environments (certifications preferred).
- o Network Devices: In-depth knowledge and proficiency with switches, firewalls, load balancers, routers, wireless access points, controllers, and netscalers.
- o Network Design & Troubleshooting: Expertise in designing, monitoring, and troubleshooting LANs, WANs, and SD-WANs.
- o Cloud Integration: Experience integrating network solutions with private, virtual private, and public cloud environments.
- o Proven track record of success in a fast-paced IT environment.
- o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- o Certified and experience with Cisco technologies.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technology field, preferably with a focus on network engineering.
- CCNA or CCNP certifications.
- o Palo Alto and Prisma certifications (PCNSA/PCNSE).
