Senior Network Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of our network services. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing network operations, optimizing performance, and resolving complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks

• Configure and deploy network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using a variety of network diagnostic tools

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new network technologies and services

Implement network security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access

• Evaluate and recommend network hardware, software, and services to meet the company's requirements

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers and support teams

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies in a timely manner

• Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience

• Proven experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale network infrastructures

Professional certifications is a PLUS.

• Expertise in networking protocols and technologies.

Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors.

• Experience with network security principles and best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is PLUS!

• Experience working in the telecommunications or internet service provider (ISP) industry.

Knowledge of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts and technologies.

• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud networking environments.

Scripting or programming skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40,
