Job Summary: (Hybrid set-up)
The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop strategic brand plans for both existing and new products.
- Contribute to setting targets and goals for the brand and monitor spending.
Campaign Management:
- Strategize and implement marketing campaigns as required by the Category Manager.
- Develop advertising and promotional campaigns across all media types (offline, online, etc.)
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of digital marketing campaigns.
Content Creation:
- Prepare and create content (written, visual, multimedia/video) for marketing materials across offline and online platforms.
Vendor Management:
- Liaise with and oversee vendors in the implementation of outsourced marketing/support services.
Data and Analytics
- Analyze, evaluate, and optimize campaigns based on set targets and goals.
- Report on campaigns using digital metrics.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
- Continuously monitor market landscape opportunities and competitive activities.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Advertising or any related discipline.
- At least 2 years of work experience preferably in a marketing/ business development or advertising role.
Skills:
- Strong written communication skills and good visual design sense
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Visual design skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Strong knowledge in social media platforms/ online marketplaces
