Primary Job Function
The role primarily partners and supports the Associate Director - Compensation and Benefits SEA & Area Projects with review and recommendations on design and implementation of C&B programs and projects (Area, Affiliate and M&A related), manage payroll and HR Ops for the entire Philippines affiliate.
The role primarily entails providing strategic compensation consulting and analytics across Philippines, which enables the hiring Manager to facilitate decision making in the region. The consulting would need to be provided to both Commercial entity and ARDx Service Center approx. 1400 HC
The role includes working in close partnerships with Philippines BHR Director, BHR managers, Talent acquisition team, finance team, HR shared services, payroll vendor and other C&B vendors etc
The role also is required to lead and facilitate conversations with senior management and Business Advisory Council (BAC) members as and when needed.
Core Responsibilities
Provide strategic and tactical advisory for any C&B problem statements in Philippines
Provide advisory and recommendations on job evaluations, internal and external job offers, promotions, equity increases, retention, incentive calculations etc to the HM.
Prepare the initial salary structures in the Comp Analyst for hiring Manager to review
Analyse, consolidate and provide merit recommendations annually for Philippines
Analyse and provide recommendations on existing benefits policies for Philippines
Analyse and provide support to the HM recommending appropriate changes in harmonization of benefits, policies and processes as required during M&A process
Provide advisiory LTI / RSU related guidance and inputs to all stakeholders as per global guidelines
Support market benchmarking projects across Philippines for both Mercer, Towers Watson
Support in reviewing existing governance policies to recommend appropriate changes in Philippines
To support the M&A activities in Philippines if any
Review, lead, support payroll and HR Ops responsibilities through a a team of 3,comply and complete payroll audit requirements as required
To ensure timely implementation of HR policies and to control /adhere / comply of the policy requirements as per the defined procedures.
Support BHR during labor law changes etc
Insurance Portfolio: Support in Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident & Life Insurance Policy renewals across Philippines and for both Plant and Commercial entity
Support global & area C&B projects and initiatives as specified during the year
Supervisory / Management Responsibilities
The role supports Philippines affiliate which accounts to an overall sales scope of USD 441 MM and a service center (SSO industry). Overall supporting approx 1400 employees
The role reports to Associate Director - Compensation and Benefits SEA & Area Projects and is a manageria role
The role will have a team size of 3 with 1 direct reportee
Stakeholder management and Skills
The role requires the incumbent to interact and manage relationships with Philippines BAC members, key Country HR , BHR & TA & external vendors
The role requires good communication and influencing skills, incumbent needs to be proactive and solution oriented, should be able to develop good C&B network that will enable him/her to perform at a superior level
Experience in a dynamic and fast pace matrix environment is helpful.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelors / MBA with 10 + years of experience as a Human Resources professional with exposure to Philippines compensation and benefits. Consulting / MNC experience is an added advantage
Regional / Global exposure is an added advantage
Working Knowledge of indepth aspects of Compensation & Benefits (Base pay, LTI programs, Annual incentive programs, Benefits, Salary benchmarking etc.)
Payroll management is an added advantage
People manager experience is helpful
