About the role:
We are looking for an ambitious professional for the role of Senior Manager, Business Development, to help launch ancillary services in the middle east market.
It involves problem solving, understanding internal and external context quickly and ability to sell - both to corporates and governments. Frequent domestic and international travel is a key part of this role.
Ideal candidate is a graduate (MBA preferred) with 5-7 years of direct sales experience in SaaS/ IT services. Ability and temperament to take on business development targets, find new clients and grow with the existing clients, understand product and services, create and give impactful presentations, develop long term relationships are some of the key success factors for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Own product line(s) - and be accountable for revenue growth from new services
- Work closely with leadership, business, marketing, product teams, and other stakeholders to achieve product line/ client related objectives
- Build narratives and presentations in collaboration with leadership to expand and grow client portfolio
- Develop pricing/ commercial models and create revenue/ cost forecasts
- Research and identify new opportunities for existing products
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to fulfil client requirements
- Develop market analysis and strategy to identify key opportunities for specific markets in partnership with cross-functional sales, growth, and product teams
- Hunt new clients for product line(s)/ platform
- Grow business from existing clients as per plans/ projections
- Deliver financial plans and goals for the business.
Good to have:
- Graduation in any field is required. MBA is preferred.
- Proven working experience in sales/ business development in SaaS or IT services - global experience preferred
- 5-7 years of total work experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Global mobility and willingness to travel extensively
