Job Description
Objective:
Provides support to the Resource Center Legal Team by performing task such as but not limited to legal research and housekeeping, documentation, compliance processes and relevant administrative tasks that are required by the department.
Description:
1. Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to gather pertinent information, statutes, regulations, and precedents relevant to corporate matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Documentation Drafting and Revision: Prepare, review, and revise various legal documents, including agreements, corporate resolutions, and procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal requirements.
3. Corporate Documentation Processes: Manage corporate documentation processes, including the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, filings, and registrations.
4. Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organization. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance, data privacy, employment law, intellectual property, and other relevant areas.
5. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support handling correspondence and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
6. Contract and Permit Review: Reviews government documentation and ensures the validity of permits/licenses and other documents.
7. Legal Housekeeping: Assist in legal housekeeping activities, such as organizing and updating legal libraries, databases, and templates.
8. Other Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned in alignment with the responsibilities of the position and the needs of the organization.
Qualification:
1. At least 5 years of work-related experience in Legal/Compliance and Document Processing
2. Must be a bachelor's degree holder of any business-related course
3. Must have knowledge of Philippine and China legal and policy.
4. Skills: filing, encoding, document processing, audit, Office skills, basic operation of office equipment
5. Language (speaking and writing): English and Filipino
Advantage if you can speak, read, and write in Mandarin.
