Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Java Developer to join their dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality applications that meet our clients needs

Mandatory Skill-set

• An accomplished engineer with 7+ years of IT experience;
• Familiarity with diverse infrastructure, application, and information technologies;
• Proficiency with microservices, event-driven architecture, and integrations;
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies, software development, DevOps, and project management;
• Expertise in Java/Spring Boot for designing, building, and enhancing web applications;
• Experience with JMS, MQ, Kafka, File Transfer, and S3;
• Proficiency with Junit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, and PACT;
• Experience with Oracle DB and Hibernate.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus;
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch;
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance Java web applications;
• Migrate functionality from legacy applications to modern Java web architecture;
• Recommend high-quality technical solutions to address business requirements proactively;
• Develop detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports;
• Implement necessary changes and enhancements per corporate standards and guidelines;
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and testability;
• Coordinate deployment, testing, and release of developed applications;
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions;
• Create automated test cases for validating solutions;
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing;
• Create user guides and provide training as needed;
• Ensure all applications adhere to company standards and policies.
