Senior Java Developer (Hybrid)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer for a contract role with a minimum duration of one year. This position involves deployment with one of our clients and offers a hybrid work setup, including the possibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Java development and system architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.

• System Design and Architecture

: Design scalable and high-performance system architectures.

• Collaborate with other engineers to enhance software architecture.

Implement industry best practices in software design and development.

• Project Management:

Lead and mentor junior developers.

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

• Testing and Documentation

: Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

• Document code and maintain technical documentation.

Ensure applications are thoroughly tested and meet client requirements before release.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).

• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker).

• Experience

: At least 5 years of experience in Java development.

• Proven experience in the full software development lifecycle.

Prior experience in leading a team or managing projects.

• Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to mentor and guide junior developers effectively.
