Mandatory Skill(s)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure management;
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMWare);
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift);
• Strong scripting skills (bash, Go, Python);
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins);
• Understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and load balancing;
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools;
• Excellent incident management and troubleshooting skills;

Desirable Skill(s)

• Experience in a banking or financial services environment;
• Ability to work comfortably with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP);
• Knowledge of SQL administration and query;

Responsibilities

• Oversee Linux and Windows environments and manage virtualized environments (VMWare);
• Utilize command-line proficiency (RHCSA/RHCE certification or equivalent);
• Implement and manage containerization solutions (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift);
• Configure and manage firewall rules;
• Handle DNS, DHCP, and network storage solutions (NFS/NAS, SAN, CIFS/SMB);
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Go, Python);
• Build and integrate tools to improve system availability, reliability, and performance;
• Utilize CI/CD tooling for automation (Azure DevOps, Jenkins);
• Enforce configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef);
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify problem areas;
• Conduct trend analysis and manage incidents to ensure quick service restoration;
• Perform capacity planning and maintain adherence to SLAs;
• Hold IT Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams accountable for SLA compliance.
