The reason the position exists is to perform the following functions.
- Be a Workato Subject Matter Expert with the ability to discover and demonstrate how Workato can effectively help departments with their business automation needs across a broad set of use cases.
- Employing Workato to generate necessary Recipes within the Project.
- Engaging with the Person-in-Charge (PIC) to address Automation requirements and requisites collaboratively.
- Developing interfaces and orchestrating automated module deployments.
- Troubleshoot and debug integration processes as needed.
- Establishing integration connection among various applications.
- Proficiency demonstrated in utilizing various Enterprise Middleware solutions such as SAP, Salesforce integrations, and ERP integrations.
- Extensive experience in Acquisition Integrations and Migration
- Thoroughly documenting procedures sourced from diverse origins (e.g., API, files).
- Ensure system scalability and performance in integration projects.
- Providing expertise and insights into information system alternatives, risks, and operational ramifications.
- Guiding and mentoring junior automation developers in acquiring expertise
There are a limited number of other employees available to perform the function, and the function is highly specialized requiring specific expertise or ability.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Demonstrated track record of 3 or more years in Automation Engineering and collaborative ventures.
- 2-3 years of experience with Workato / camunda / oracle SOA / Mule ESB
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies
- Extensive experience in Acquisition Integrations and Migration
- Knowledge of ERPs/SAP is a plus
- Understand security and governance needs for Enterprises
- Knowledge of Azure/Google Cloud is a plus.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
- Knowledge of Java/Dotnet/Pythoin/NodeJS/Golang programming and relational Databases (e.g.MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience working on REST/SOAP web, API design and development, unit testing, data transformation, exception handling strategies, knowledge of JSON/XML, SFTP, expert in object-oriented concepts, SOA principles, Database concepts and SQL.
- Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and security of code.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of technical expertise in developing and supporting Integration platforms leveraging Integration and Middleware tools.
- 3 years of experience with Workato / camunda / oracle SOA / Mule ESB
- Knowledge of Java/Dotnet/Pythoin/NodeJS/Golang programming and relational Databases (e.g.MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience working on REST/SOAP web, API design and development, unit testing, data transformation, exception handling strategies, knowledge of JSON/XML, SFTP, expert in object-oriented concepts, SOA principles, Database concepts and SQL.
- Possesses a robust understanding of integration patterns and architectures.
- Extensive experience in Acquisition Integrations and Migration
- Proficiency demonstrated in utilizing various Enterprise Middleware solutions such as SAP, Salesforce integrations, and ERP integrations.
- Proficient in technical writing to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner. This includes using appropriate language, formatting, and structure to create documentation that is easy to follow and proficient in API processes.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convey and relate ideas to others and work collaboratively to get things done.
- One who is proactive and takes ownership.
- Capable of overseeing and mentoring junior Automation developers, in addition to providing reports to management.
