Senior Graphic Designer

Role Overview

As a Senior Graphic Designer at aussieBum, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the visual identity of our brand across multiple platforms. You will be responsible for creating conceptual designs for our website, EDMs (Electronic Direct Mail), lifestyle images, and OOH (Out-of-Home) advertising. Additionally, you will manage 3D product images and collaborate closely with our creative team, including graphic designers, video producers, and the creative/marketing manager.

• Key Responsibilities

Website Design:

• Develop and execute conceptual designs for our website, ensuring a visually compelling and user-friendly experience that aligns with our brand identity.

EDM Design:

• Create engaging and on-brand EDM designs to support our marketing campaigns, driving customer engagement and conversions.

Lifestyle Images:

• Design lifestyle images that capture the essence of our products and resonate with our audience, enhancing our brand storytelling.

3D Product Image Management:

• Oversee the creation and management of 3D product images, working with other graphic designers to ensure consistency and quality.

OOH Design:

• Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality visual content for OOH advertising, enhancing our brand visibility in public spaces.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the creative/marketing manager and other team members to align design work with marketing strategies and objectives.

Sales Data Utilization:

• Utilize sales data and trends to inform and adapt design strategies, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and customer preferences.

HTML Knowledge:

• Apply your understanding of HTML to ensure designs are effectively implemented in a digital environment, working closely with web developers to bring your designs to life.

Trend Analysis:

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and ecommerce, continuously bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the team.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.

• Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work across digital and print media.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

• Experience in ecommerce design and a strong understanding of user experience principles.

Excellent conceptual and visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Understanding of HTML and how it works in the context of web design.

Familiarity with 3D product imaging tools and techniques.

• Understanding of sales data and trends, with the ability to adapt design strategies accordingly.

Experience in OOH advertising and printing design is a plus.
