Roles and Responsibilities- Maintain the general ledger and all other supporting ledgers to ensure financial information is up to
date, and data integrity- Month end Accounting including journal entries for; accruals, prepayments, amortisation
Production of monthly P&L reporting - including reporting packs
- Completion of the monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts
Preparation of weekly cashflow- Assist with Local and Foreign Tax submission
Reconcile inventory management system
- Ensure files and record keeping within the Finance department is up to date
Preparation of weekly and month reports for wider business- Participate in other project and adhoc tasks
Relevant tertiary qualification and CA/CPA- Strong financial accounting background/ experience
Working knowledge of local/ international accounting legislation
- Good IT literacy/ accounting package knowledge
Superior analytical skills and commercial acumen- Ability to manage budgets and achieve associated performance targets
Excellent communication skills
- MS Office (Excel) advanced
Minimum of 3 years experience- Experience in setting up finance processes, controls and systems is highly desirable
