The role
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for performing routine accounting functions and deliver value-added analysis to support the business needs of a dynamic, multinational E-commerce company. You will also participate in fact-based planning and analysis of key strategic and operational initiatives.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is estimated to spend circa 20-40% commercial and 80-60% technical accounting depending on business needs and time of the year.
You will:
Have strong technical accounting and commercial acumen.
Perform key accounting functions such as A/R, A/P, Inventory, accounts reconciliation.
Collect cash and diagnose invoices with our B2B marketplace customers.
Prepare local entity (rotations across HK/ AU/ NZ/ US) and Group Consolidation P&L/ Balance Sheet.
Support the accounting team during month end and year end close.
Be the Finance lead in B2B (wholesale/ trade/ marketplace) commercial and technical analysis.
Prepare and support the development of accounting policies, financial reports, transfer pricing, and financial and tax audits.
Support and enhance the company's annual budgeting and cash flow forecasting process.
Develop sound financial models and value chain analytics to support key strategic and operational initiatives.
The successful candidate
Our new Senior Financial Analyst will have:
Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related area of studies
CPA/ ACCA/ CA qualified or equivalent
Excellent communication skills: proficient in English - both written and oral
At least 5 years of finance/ accounting analysis experience
Experience in either AU/US/NZ/HK markets
Experience working in retail, e-commerce, marketing, supply chain operation
Working knowledge of generally-accepted accounting principles and financial statement analysis
Working knowledge of accounting/financial analytical techniques and Xero
