We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the Business Investments team. The position will work closely with all levels of the organization, drive the reporting function via Hyperion (Planning), SAP, and Oracle, and support various other Modeling requirements. In addition to the Hyperion responsibilities, other duties will include assisting with month-end close analysis, assisting with the preparation of Cost Council Meetings, Functional Review packages, Forecast and Budget review packages, and other ad hoc duties that will be incorporated into the role as required.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the Coherent Corp Financial Close, Consolidation, Reporting, Budget, and Forecasting process and requirements.
• Develop and maintain month and quarter-end financial packages and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide additional training and support resources for Global Operations staff on the financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting solutions in Hyperion Planning.
• Assist in the collection and entry of 5-year plan, budget, and forecast data into Hyperion Planning. Assist with Budget / 5yr. Plan Documentation.
• Assist with the reporting and analysis of capital expenditures, and headcount and payroll detail.
• Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation to support and utilize the financial consolidation and reporting system.
• Assist with Synergy Tracking Requirements.
• Ad Hoc duties as required.

Education & Experience

• B.S. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Science, or a related area.
• 5+ years of experience in Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning Module including but not limited to, combined accounting and/or reporting experience in a global organization, developing, deploying, and using Smart View reports
• Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferably in a complex global organization
• Oracle and SAP experience a plus
• Experience with a vertically integrated organization, preferably a manufacturing environment.
