Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably with hands-on involvement in audits for multinational or construction companies.
- With supervisory or team lead experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements in financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and practices.
- Proficient in taxation processes and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the audit process.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Management & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- Consolidate financial reporting packages for the Business Unit.
- Review reporting packages submitted by joint ventures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate reporting timetables and requirements to projects and other entities.
- Provide accounting support to the Business Unit and Corporate Finance teams.
- Prepare and review account analyses, reconciliations, and other required financial reports.
2. Financial Audit
- Lead and support audit-related activities.
- Prepare draft statutory accounts in compliance with financial reporting standards and local statutory requirements.
3. Tax Compliance
- Provide data and schedules to the Tax Manager and tax consultants.
- Prepare and review tax computations, ensuring alignment with accounting records.
- Coordinate with tax consultants for timely filing of tax returns and assist in researching tax treatments and implications.
- Assist in BIR audits by preparing reconciliations and analyzing accounts.
