Job Description

The Medical City Clark is currently looking for Senior Finance Manager:

The candidate is responsible for monitoring the functions & activities of departments under direct supervision (i.e., Financial Planning & Analysis, Cash Management, Accounting, Accounts Management / Billing & Collection, Purchasing) such as timely preparation & analysis of accurate financial information, management & control of hospital funds, monitor and manage the status of accounts receivables & payables, evaluate pricing & costing of procedures & services, preparation of and compliance with annual hospital budgets.

Lastly, they are expected to meet and counsel patients that are financially challenged (as need arises), and perform administrative functions (i.e., checks reports, approves request for payment & advances, approval of requests under the Delegation of Authority, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors hospital compliance to the approved budget for OPEX, .i.e overtime, representation, utilities, etc.
  • Ensures that supplies are monitored and accounted by each Department.
  • Checks and evaluates Consumption Report.
  • Ensures that all fixed assets are accounted and maintained by each Department.
  • Checks results of year end count of assets.
  • Manages cash requirements vs cash availability.
  • Monitors cash placements.
  • Negotiates for best price, discount, rebate, term of payment, and warranty.
  • Prepares & presents overall hospital budgets & forecasts.
  • Monitors hospital CAPEX and OPEX vs approved budget.
  • Presents to President and CEO monthly Financial Report.
  • Evaluates and recommend increase in hospital rates as the need arises.
  • Prepares, checks, analyses, approves, submits required reports (i.e. Financial Report, FS Analysis, Business Case Study, Annual Budget, etc.).
  • Reviews external and auditors reports.
  • Reviews and enhances the Standard Operating Procedures of Finance and Administration Division, if any, when necessary.
  • Complies with all Hospitals policies and procedures
  • Ensures the availability, usability, and maintenance of the facilities of common areas.
  • Ensures efficient compliance of service level agreements for housekeeping services in Common/Public Areas and Offices.
  • Monitors the financial activities of the department to ensure that all expenses are accounted.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be Certified Public Accountant, practicing in Commerce and/or Hospital Industry.
  • At least two (2) to three (3) years relevant experience with the same capacity.
