Senior ETL Developer

Job Summary

Mandatory Skill-set

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL processes using IBM DataStage or Informatica;
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix scripting and PL/SQL for managing and optimizing database processes;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS including table design, indexing, tuning, and data types;
• Experience in data modeling for relational databases;
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Git;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and issue tracking tools such as ServiceNow or Azure Boards;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate with global teams;

Desired Skill-set

• Experience working in the lending domain or banking industry;
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools;

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage or Informatica to ensure the seamless extraction, transformation, and loading of data;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data integration and efficient data flow;
• Model and optimize relational databases to enhance performance and scalability;
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and Git for continuous integration and automated deployment;
• Provide technical support for data processing and troubleshooting by leveraging PL/SQL, Linux (Bash), and Unix scripting;
• Develop test automation strategies and execute unit, system, and integration testing to maintain data accuracy and integrity;
• Resolve production issues swiftly and advise solutions for system improvements;
