Reporting to the Geomatics and Command Center Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible in the 24/7 operation of the OCmC Contact Center to provide real-time customer service to all connected power users and stakeholders. Monitor the GIS applications that shall be responsive to the corporation's needs. Supports the contingency plans and status reporting during calamities, special events and other emergencies.
- Ensures the day to day real-time monitoring of substations, transmission lines, and connected power customers to ensure safe, reliable and efficient transmission of power across the grid, including the:
Monitoring of all overall grid facilities condition during normal operation, emergency condition and events of national interests to ensure reliable transmission of power;- Implementation of contingency measures involving command centers participation as indicated in the IDAP Manual during line and/or equipment abnormalities to ensure fast restoration of power service;
Coordination with external government agencies like NDRRMD, PAGASA, PHILVOLCS, MGB, DENR, and BFP regarding data sharing and technical collaboration needed in the sound operation and maintenance of transmission facilities during emergencies;
- Monitoring of the geodatabase build-up capacity and informs ICTD regarding expansion of data hardware;
Ensures effective communication and interaction with connected power customer and stakeholders through 24/7 operation providing real-time customer service:- Organizing the day to day contact operation in receiving and resolving customer queries and complaints on technical and non-technical concerns;
Providing information to monitor the performance of the contact center through statistics analysis;
- Participating in the formulation of the call center operational strategies by conducting needs assessment, performance reviews, identifying and suggesting to ICTD the state-of-the-art technologies needed for process improvement
Registered Electrical/Electronics/Civil Engineer
- Four (4) years relevant experience
Preferably two (2) years in power system, specifically in Substation and Transmission Line operation- Knowledge in GIS operation and customer relation management
