Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborating with multi-discipline engineering teams
- Utilizing technical documentation for mechanical systems and drawings, bench test equipment, ATE system resources for hardware integration
- Conducting industry research on best-in-class design practices for developing quality test solutions
- Selecting and Sourcing electrical and electromechanical components Schematic capture and PCB design using industry standard tools
- Able to navigate electrical and electronic schematics, navigate between schematics and PCB layout diagrams and generate PCB output files
- Good understanding of electronic devices, footprints, and device specifications
- Creating and organizing Bill of Materials for test hardware production
- Interacting with suppliers and PCB manufacturing sites
- Testing complete electronic systems, individual boards and debugging to the component level
Secondary Responsibilities
- System level integration of digital and analog circuits
- Microcontroller programming and debugging
- FPGA programming and debugging
- Establishing new methods and documentation supporting design validation, functionality and calibration
- Collaborating with team members to improve the productivity and quality of design methodology, troubleshooting and efficiency processes within Hardware Engineering
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, ideally involving semiconductor test
- Strong working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
- Knowledge of the application and use of various electronics lab test equipment
- Experience with ATE applications, Teradyne Eagle preferred
- Experience with industry standard EDA tools for developing PCB designs, such as Altium Designer (preferred), Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL and Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
