Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with various teams to support and enhance our applications, interfaces, and underlying infrastructure.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Over 6 years of experience supporting applications in a fast-paced environment;
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux servers;
• Hands-on experience with Java or JMS;
• Knowledge of IT risk topics, identity and access management, and platform security;
• A proactive, consultative attitude with a strong focus on client needs;
• Preferably experienced in Agile, SCRUM, and DevOps methodologies;
• Delivery-oriented with a track record of meeting deadlines;
• Exposure to CI/CD pipeline, modern stack (Azure/AWS/Docker/Kubernetes), Logstash, Prometheus, Kibana is a plus;

Desired Skill-set

• ITIL V3 certification is a plus;

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level functional and technical support for matching applications, interfaces, and IT infrastructure (MQ, Network, Linux, Windows).
• Manage in-house development tools in Java and JMS.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within SLA and escalate unresolved issues.
• Flexibility to work shifts and provide after-hours support.
• Manage communications during major incidents and problem management.
• Conduct root cause analysis for major and recurring incidents.
• Monitor and maintain private cloud capabilities, including software updates and product management.
• Adhere to relevant regulatory procedures and controls.
• Analyze user requirements and deploy solutions.
