SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in monitoring and maintaining our on-premises infrastructure.

The DevOps Engineer will report to the local team manager.

Responsibilities:

Linux (Mandatory):

Proficiency in Linux administration, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Kubernetes on-premises Administration (Mandatory):

Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components.

Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters on-premises.

Manifest-Based Install on Kubernetes (Mandatory):

Ability to create and manage Kubernetes manifests (YAML files) for deploying applications and services.

YAML-Based Resource Install and Deployment on Kubernetes (Mandatory):

Expertise in writing and maintaining YAML-based resource definitions for pods, services, deployments, and other Kubernetes objects.

Container Registry (Mandatory):

Familiarity with container registries (e.g., Docker Hub, Harbor, or private registries).

Experience with image management and security.

Elasticsearch (Mandatory):

Proficiency in setting up and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch best practices for search and analytics.

RabbitMQ :

Experience with RabbitMQ setup, configuration, and monitoring.

Understanding of message queuing patterns and reliability.

Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills (Critical):

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Communicate clearly and constructively with colleagues, stakeholders, and end-users.

Foster positive relationships within the DevOps team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or system administration.

Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Skills (Advantage):

Experience with other monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Familiarity with security practices in DevOps workflows.
