Position: Senior Data Engineer
Salary Range: 2,000 3,000 USD per month
Working Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week Eastern Standard Time; flexible hours

Our client in the US is a data analytics and consulting company that provides strategic advice and expertise in Health Technology Assessment to biopharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases to store and manage unstructured healthcare data.
- Collaborate with data analysts, senior leadership, designers, and other developers to define and implement features that improve our software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Python, Ruby on Rails, and Angular.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Heroku.
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs that interact seamlessly with our relational database.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and security of our software solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance our products and processes.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience
- Proven experience building relational databases with unstructured data in a production environment.
- Proficiency in using SQL, Python, and Ruby on Rails.
- Experience working with NLPs and fine-tuning LLMs in the context of unstructured data is highly desirable.
- Experience working with various database engines including ElasticSearch, Redis, Postgres, MySQL, and DataGrips is highly desirable.
- Experience working for a SAAS company is a plus.
- MS Office, MS Teams, JIRA for Project Management Tool, Asana
- Additional front-end development skills with Angular or similar frameworks and experience deploying and managing applications on AWS and Heroku are desirable.
