Senior Cyber Security Consultant

The Senior Cyber Security Consultant will help evangelize and present Nexus Orion's cybersecurity services to clients and prospect as pre-sales.

They will also assist on execution of Nexus Orion Security Services including Red/Blue/Purple Team Services, Vulnerability Assessment/ Penetration Testing, Compromise Assessments, Incident Response Services, Security platform Optimization Service, Phishing Simulations etc. together with other technical resources of Orion. They are expected to champion client engagements by becoming a trusted advisor in cyber security field and become the customer facing contact of the team.

The position involves coordination with multiple technical teams under Orion that may be needed to deliver a successful security service. The Consultant team may also need to provide support in some specialize services under the managed security service arm of Orion.

The Senior Cyber Security Consultant is also expected to provide guidance to junior consultants to ensure proper delivery of the team.

The role will get an opportunity to develop wide array of skills and understanding within the domain of security including offensive security, incident response and forensics, security standards/frameworks and security platform management (SIEM, WAF, Firewalls, EDR, Email Gateways and others) and earn various security certifications.

• QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of any collegiate course preferably in the field of Information and Communication Technology or Engineering

• Work related experience of at least four (4) years to six (6) in performing security related functions such as consultancy, security operations, engineering or others

Good communication and presentation skills

• Knowledge in concepts of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing is desired

Knowledge in concepts of Incident Response, Forensics and Security Operations is desired.

• Understanding on security technologies such as SIEM, Firewalls, IPS, endpoint, Email protection is desired

Hands on experience in VAPT or Digital Forensics/Incident Response a huge plus.

• Fundamental understanding with network and systems hardening required.

Security Certification such as, Comptia Security+, CYberSecurity Analyst+ , CEH and other similar security certification is a plus.

• Attentive to details and meticulous with documentation, and processes.
