Professional Background and Experience
. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on critical infrastructure and data center
environments.
. At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in critical facilities engineering, preferably with exposure to design, construction, and operational
transition in data centers.
Professional Qualifications & Training
. Preferred certifications include CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional), CDCS (Certified Data Centre Specialist), ITIL, and project
management certifications. Familiarity with energy management certifications and international standards such as ISO is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
. MEP Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems including transformers, switchgears,
UPS, rectifiers, generators, CRACs, CRAHs, and chillers.
. Energy Management: Strong knowledge of energy audits, energy-saving programs, and energy efficiency measures.
. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with applicable regulations, standards, and codes of practice related to building operations and data
center management.
. Technical Certifications: Proven experience leading and achieving technical certification programs such as ANSI/TIA-942, Green Mark, ISO,
and others.
. Software Proficiency: Proficient in software and systems including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.

. Engineering Expertise: Extensive knowledge of MEP systems, including transformers, switchgears, UPS, generators, chillers, and more.
. Project Leadership: Strong leadership in managing engineering aspects of data center design and construction projects, ensuring timely
delivery within budget.
. Energy Efficiency & Sustainability: Expertise in designing energy-efficient solutions that align with sustainability goals.
. Compliance and Certification: Proven ability to oversee and achieve technical certifications and regulatory compliance in engineering
designs.
. Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, project managers, and operational teams,
ensuring the alignment of engineering and construction goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership in Design and Construction:
Provide technical engineering expertise during the design and construction phases, ensuring that
critical facility designs meet industry standards for reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency.
Center of Excellence for Engineering:
Lead the Center of Excellence initiatives, acting as the subject matter expert for Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) systems, providing strategic input and guidance on engineering best
practices.
Collaboration with Project Teams:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Construction, and Facility
Operations, to ensure that engineering designs translate effectively into fully operational facilities.
Energy Management Strategy:
Spearhead energy-saving initiatives during the design and build phases, ensuring all projects meet
energy efficiency and sustainability targets.
Technical Certification and Compliance:
Ensure that all designs and constructions are compliant with ANSI/TIA-942, Green Mark, ISO
certifications, and other relevant standards.
Policy Development and Governance:
Develop and maintain technical policies and standards related to critical facilities engineering,
ensuring alignment with industry regulations and internal governance
