Overview:
As part of the Australia Consumer Lending - Credit Assessment Team, you will be responsible for the credit assessment and proactive up of consumer credit applications for new and existing customers utilizing Delegated Lending Authorities (DLA). As a Consumer Credit Assessor you will apply your sound credit knowledge and skills to ensure consumer credit applications comply with ING Credit policy, procedure and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities/Expectations from the Role:
Assessment of new and existing customer consumer credit applications within DLA, and in line with bank policy.
End to end processing of consumer credit applications.
Credit review and decisioning of applications via refer or decline appeals.
Resolution of customer and stakeholder enquiries.
Generation of ideas for continuous improvement
Positive approach in relation to change and improvement.
Timely and professional response to all incoming emails and/or requests
Ensure all up is completed in a timely manner.
Maintaining and developing detailed technical knowledge in relation to sound credit assessment practices.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality in relation to credit decisions in lines with banks risk profile and appetite.
Adapting to a constantly changing environment, both in relation to organizational change, and external market conditions.
Maintaining and developing positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
If you are:
A College graduate or equivalent professional working experience in Consumer/Retail credit analysis: i.e. Credit Card lending experience. A professional and mature individual displaying the following behaviors and competencies:
