In the Philippines, IPG Mediabrands was founded in 2015 by the late and beloved Venus Reyes-Navalta and is registered in SEC as IPG Mediabrands Philippines, Inc. We are structured in the country as an umbrella company of a number of brands or business units such as UM, Initiative, Reprise, Magna, Orion, MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS) plus our now affiliates Kinesso and Matterkind that incorporated its own company in 2021 to form Kinesso Philippines, Inc.

We are looking for a SENIOR COPYWRITER who can join our MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS) team:

ABOUT THE TEAM

MBCS or MediaBrands Content Studio (MBCS) is a Media-Born content studio powered by Audience-Informed creativity. We tell moving stories. By redefining the role media plays in the creative process, we move audiences emotionally. From there, everything elsefrom culture to KPIs and salesmoves too. Guided by our DATA, we create BOLD, IMPACTFUL content.

THE SENIOR COPYWRITER ROLE

As a Senior Copywriter, you will guide junior creatives and craft agency-standard creative output across media, advertising, digital content, and integrated campaigns.

This role is designed for a seasoned Copywriter ready to level up into a leadership position within the creative unit. You will be responsible for crafting new content and innovations, nurturing junior talent, and maintaining creative excellence across all deliverables.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver strong content through copy and ideation, while making cohesive and compelling campaigns that meet client objectives.
• Collaborate with account management, strategy, and media teams to ensure alignment and integration of content, branding, digital, and thematic campaigns.
• Be a key decision-maker in the writing and creative process, providing clear direction and constructive feedback to ensure high standards and creative integrity.
• Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all creative assets in line with client needs.
• Proactively communicate with internal teams and clients to present ideas, gather feedback, and adjust creative work as needed to maintain client satisfaction.
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within your cluster, while mentoring and developing team members.
• Stay informed of content and industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging creative technologies to continually evolve the creative output.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Copywriter, with a strong portfolio showcasing your strong craftmanship, developing creative leadership, and work on successful campaigns.
• Ability to balance creative and content innovation with strategic thinking, ensuring all work aligns with client goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both with internal teams and external clients.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor junior and same-level colleagues.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing, social media, and the broader content creative landscape.
• Also has a good eye on visual.
