Job Description:
We're looking for a Compliance Testing (CoE) Senior Analyst to join our Compliance - Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assurance that the Business Unit's (BU) AML/ATF and Compliance Programs are in compliance with the Company's Global AML/ATF Policy, the Asia Segment AML/ATF Risk Management Program, applicable Compliance policies, and all relevant local laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly report all matters to the Team Lead of Testing CoE. Monitor the implementation of the approved Test Plan by ensuring that:
- Kick-off testing notices are sent to the local business units as planned
- Testing activities are performed during the testing period
- Issues or concerns that may delay the testing activities are addressed promptly and communicated to the Tower Lead of ICS Testing
- Testing activities are completed based on the planned completion dates
- Updates on the implementation of the approved Test Plan, including the progress of ongoing and completed testing activities, are provided
- Final reports and working papers are properly safekept and readily available for audit and documentation purposes
Maintain high-quality standards on the test results by ensuring that:
- Technical aspects of the AML/ATF and FATCA-CRS programs are reviewed
- Regulatory examination, audit reports, and other relevant internal reports are considered prior to conducting testing
- Testing activities performed, along with their results, coincide with the scope and objectives of the testing
- Reports are reviewed and discussed with the team, including the Team Lead of Testing CoE.
- Assist in driving and monitoring the team's productivity and efficiency
- Assist in tracking the resolution of all outstanding observations in the test results by securing updates from the local business units on the progress and completion of their remedial actions based on their target dates
- Take charge of, assist with, or monitor projects/initiatives related to process improvement.
- Motivate others to stretch and take bold steps to achieve better outcomes
- Assist Managers in driving team performance to the highest possible level and excel through development actions
- Assist the TL/Manager in reviewing works and final reports prior to release, ensuring all activities are delivered on a timely basis
- Ensure that own assigned works/adhocs are handled with accountability and adhere to the QA plan
- Involve in decision-making, provide advice and recommendations to stakeholders based on data
- Conduct training for new hires and upskill existing team members
Qualifications:
- A graduate of any business courses (e.g., Finance, Accounting) is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of Audit/Controls Testing experience or 4 years of experience in AML and Compliance
- ACAMS certification is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, including insurance and/or securities
- Basic understanding of the regulatory environment in which the company operates and some understanding of key compliance concepts
