Senior Communications Officer
  • JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent writing and editing skills, a deep understanding of media relations, and the ability to manage and mentor a communications team. This position is responsible for creating compelling content, managing public relations, and enhancing the organization's reputation.
  • PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, social media posts, and internal communications.
Manage media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists, handling media inquiries, and organizing press conferences.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the organization's brand and objectives.
Handle crisis communication and provide counsel to senior management on communication-related issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization's communication strategies are innovative and effective.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications role, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership position.
  • Proven experience in media relations and content creation.

  • Other/Special Skills
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Proficient in using communication tools and platforms, including social media management and analytics software.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php40,
  • 00 per month
