Position: Senior Commercial Lead

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)
This position entails overseeing the entire performance spectrum of the business unit. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading a team comprising brand managers and store operators in day-to-day operations to achieve brand growth and performance targets across various e-commerce platforms. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with the Country Head to pinpoint opportunities, devise business strategies, and streamline internal processes.
To excel in this role within a swiftly expanding e-commerce startup, the ideal candidate should possess a track record of successfully establishing brands in the e-commerce domain, coupled with robust strategic acumen and problem-solving abilities. Leadership and communication skills are imperative for guiding the team, alongside adept interpersonal skills to cultivate strong relationships with key external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and nurture a high-performing team to accomplish brand business objectives.
- Formulate and execute business plans with well-defined KPIs, supported by robust marketing, commercial, and operational strategies.
- Oversee the financial performance and profitability of the overall business unit.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business performance to pinpoint key areas for improvement and identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and disseminate best practices throughout the organization.
- Contribute to the enhancement of commercial process strategies and general business planning.
- Enhance procedures strategically by evaluating and refining operational process flows.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members within the business unit.
- Cultivate, manage, and cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as brands and marketplace platforms.
- Spearhead annual negotiations with brands and e-commerce partners.
- Lead resolution of issues with external partners as they arise.
- Identify emerging e-commerce trends and opportunities for business expansion, and implement corresponding action plans.
- Prepare and deliver product proposals to prospective and existing e-commerce partners.
- Identify industry trends and competitive market insights.
- Lead team development and training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Possess 7+ years of experience in commercial or category management within the e-commerce sector.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in business, communications, or a related field.
