The Brand Manager (BM) is responsible for the formulation of financial, marketing and promotional plans and strategies in order to meet sales objectives. The BM ensures profitability, efficient operation and continued sales and margin growth of his/her brands and/or categories under their Merchandising Division. The BM coordinates with other functional groups to ensure effective implementation of the plans for the brand/category. The BM also acts as the main contact person between the principals and the organization.
