The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for analyzing and recommending opportunities and improvement areas for Process Innovation and Automation (PIA), leading the coordination and management of PIA Projects, from concept to securing approval from management, up to the execution and turn over of the project to the end users, as well as leading multi-disciplinary groups within the commissaries, including interfaces with other business units in the conduct of project execution.
- Identifies all critical automation opportunities in manufacturing, and all other relation commissary operations.
- Implements equipment and innovation specifications.
- Ensures target accomplishment in terms of project management in the execution of process improvement: cost, quality, and schedules.
- Designs, recommends, and conducts basic training on mechanization, automation, and controls with PIA, and manufacturing/engineering staff.
- Establishes all equipment performance qualifications, spare parts requirements, operations, and maintenance guidelines prior to turnover to operations.
- Acts as a major resource for equipment troubleshooting during operations and maintenance.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or related field.
- With at least five (5) years of automation experience and leading automation projects.
- With at least five (5) years of managerial experience in Engineering project management and initiative management processes from a multi-national company or industry, preferably in a food or FMCG industries.
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple projects (10-12 projects) all at the same time
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of automation tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Must have excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Must be willing to work in Calubang, Laguna.
