Job Summary:
The Logistics Planning Analyst is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of logistics strategies and processes for Neom projects. The role involves analyzing supply chain data, formulating materials flow, undertaking cost benefit analysis, and develop strategies and plans for material and manpower fulfilment. The Logistics Planning Analyst works closely with the Neom project management team and package leads to obtain the required data and ensure pro-active communication to optimize the logistics planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Planning & Coordination:
Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans that ensure the timely delivery of materials and manpower to the construction site.
Coordinate with Neom packages and project management teams to align on data quality, assumptions and outputs
Supply Chain Management:
Analyze and forecast material needs based on the project timeline and resource requirements.
Identify risks and develop contingency plans to avoid supply chain disruptions.
Project Scheduling & Resource Optimization:
Collaborate with the project management team to align logistics activities with the project schedule.
Support resource allocation by ensuring materials and resources are available as per construction schedules.
Optimize delivery routes, transportation costs, and storage solutions to increase project cost-effectiveness.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data on logistics activities, transportation costs, and material usage to recommend improvements.
Financial modelling and planning of logistics activities and assets.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased operational efficiency.
Reporting:
Creating Excel, Powerpoint and Word documents to appropriately communicate the analysis to multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
MBA in Supply Chain Management, Strategy or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Consulting or logistics planning, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Experience in developing investment business cases and cost benefit analysis
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and project teams.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word skills
Working Conditions:
On-site in Neom, Saudi Arabia project offices
