They help pastors elevate their church's financial health for greater ministry impact by providing faithful stewardship and expert financial management.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ensure the timely delivery and quality of accounting services to a designated group of clients through the supervision of a team of bookkeepers, and by personally contributing to the completion of the accounting tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee & be responsible for the accounting work for a group of our clients
- Review the day-to-day work performed by bookkeepers to ensure that everything is done correctly & timely
- Be responsible for timely and quality delivery of financials to clients or advisory team
- Assist with onboarding new clients by helping to clean up messy books
- Review financial statements for a group of our clients, identify, and communicate deficiencies to responsible bookkeepers
- Work with Client manager to assure PPP, LastPass, and other client processes are maintained and updated when needed
- Monitor the performance & efficiency of bookkeepers and report to Operations Manager
- Perform & Assist with client work as needed
- Maintain an excellent understanding of accounting procedures and New Axis's Platforms

QUALIFICATIONS
Must haves:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related field
- 3-5 years accounting experience (knowledgeable of US GAAP)
- Experience working in a small to medium accounting firms (can manage around 30 clients)
- Experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO certification is a plus!)
- Tech savvy
Nice to haves:
- Experience with US based- non-profit organizations and or US accounting firms
- Supervisory or people management experience
- Skilled in using tools/softwares such as Gusto, Bill.com, and Asana
