Our client seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate thrives in an intense and fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail. POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develop annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
Perform analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights to clients
Schedule Zoom video chats with clients to discuss financial reports
Present financial statements and KPI analysis during monthly and quarterly client meetings
Maintain ongoing and positive communication with assigned client
Spearhead accounting catch-up/clean-up projects for newly assigned clients
Assist the Accounting Information Director with researching streamlining apps
Manage and delegate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual engagements
Perform materially accurate monthly bookkeeping reviews for complex clients
Ensure that the accounting team updates client checklists in Karbon as needed
Manage and review QuickBooks file clean-ups for newly onboarded clients
Train team on new client assignments, when applicable
Delegate bookkeeping and accounting tasks to the accounting team as new clients are onboarded
Review work performed by the accounting team
Review journal entries, adjustments, and monthly reconciliations
Review payroll transmission processed by the accounting team
Review quarterly payroll tax returns and reconciliations
Review complex monthly and quarterly sales taxes
Review bills entered in Bill.com by the accounting team
Review invoices created by the accounting team
Refer to the company's core values to assist in solving problems
Enter client time daily in Karbon
Manage calendars to schedule daily and weekly workload
Schedule weekly meetings with accounting staff as needed
Execute assigned goals aligned with the company's goals
Participate in 1:1 check-in to discuss individual goals, concerns, and growth
Attend daily huddles
Attend scheduled trainings and workshops
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting is mandatory
4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
Must have experience managing multiple (30+) clients
Proficient with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
