Job Opportunity: Senior US Accountant

Are you a skilled accountant with a deep understanding of U.S. tax laws and a passion for delivering exceptional financial services We're looking for a Senior US Accountant to join our team and take charge of preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns, as well as financial statements for a diverse range of clients, including privately held companies, nonprofits, and employee benefit plans.

• KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.

• 2-5 years of recent experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on U.S. tax.

CPA licensure or progress toward certification is required.

• Proficiency in electronic workflow systems, ProSystem tax software, and CaseWare Working Papers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for business entities, individuals, and nonprofits in line with current tax laws.

• Supervise the preparation of compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and GAAS.

Collaborate with partners, clients, and staff to manage projects from planning to completion.

• Conduct technical accounting and tax research, documenting your findings.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery with keen attention to detail.

• Provide support to partners in client service execution, including maintaining and initiating client contact.

Lead and mentor junior staff, overseeing their work on various projects.
