Job Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end payroll processing including pre and post-payroll audits for European and APAC countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and upload payment files, perform a high level of payroll reports validation including peer, and initiate net payment transfer
- Review of HR changes, including validation of new Hires, terminations, rate changes, One Time Payments, and direct deposit data.
- Contact/respond to employee queries via emails or walkups within 24 hours.
- Ensure all statutory reports are generated, reconciled, audited, and submitted on time.
- Collaborate with upstream partners on projects impacting pay.
- Contributing member of several process improvement projects including documenting processes.
- Internal controls, Workday, and other systems upgrades.
- Accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Lead the Payroll team in the absence of the Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree graduate in any business or accounting-related course.
- A Master's degree is an advantage.
- 4+ years of working experience in processing and managing European and APAC payrolls, specifically Irish/UK payroll
- Able to work with different applications and databases; Workday, Kronos, SAP payroll, or ADP GlobalView systems.
- Skilled in MS Excel pivots, v-look ups & formulas.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on quality.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks to completion.
- Solutions-oriented with effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Professional demeanor, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think outside of the box and identify methods of streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.
- Tax Reporting, Reconciliation, and GL experience a plus.
- Works with a sense of urgency and is proactive keeps on top of action item owners to complete tasks
- Collaborative and intolerant of recurring problems dig deep to find the root cause and fixes the problem.
