Position Title: Senior Accountant

- Job Summary: OpenRice Philippines is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and performing various accounting tasks with a strong focus on Profit and Loss (PNL) statements. A thorough understanding of accounting processes and attention to detail are crucial for this role. Candidates must be accounting graduates, with CPA certification considered a significant advantage.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including PNL statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.- Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support management decisions.- Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, banking, and financing activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.- CPA certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
