We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting functions of the organization. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and driving process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide financial insights to senior management, and contribute to strategic decision-making to support the organization's growth and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance assessments to identify key drivers, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reporting activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with accounting team members and departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.
- Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, working closely with department heads and senior management to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights and recommendations to management for course correction and resource allocation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and streamlining of accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to optimize financial operations and reporting capabilities.
- Participate in financial projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, and business expansions, providing financial expertise and support as needed.
- Conduct financial due diligence, perform financial analysis, and contribute to decision-making processes to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookup, and financial modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
