As a Senior Accountant reporting directly to clients, a key member of our client's finance team oversees financial operations, ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and provides strategic financial guidance. The role will play a critical part in the organization's financial success and will involve direct interaction with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely responses to inquiries, and addressing their accounting and financial needs.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Customize financial reports to meet the specific needs of individual clients and assist in their decision-making processes.
- Manage and lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting journal entries.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (an MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end financial reporting.
- Experience working with US/BPO or other international companies.
- Prior experience working with large corporations is highly preferred.
- Availability to work night shifts.
