Senior Account Officer-Commercial Banking

Job Description

• Manages existing loan portfolio and markets for new loan accounts
• Makes credit evaluations and prepared credit memoranda for approval Presents accounts to approving body
• Screens loan applicants referred by branches by evaluating and analyzing credit worthiness of these accounts
• Recommends for approval credit worthy clients
• Prepares Credit Recommendation and Approval Memorandum (CRAM)
• Conducts financial analysis/credit packaging
• Conducts plant visits to check on how the business of the client is doing
• Monitors financial condition/viability of the accounts being handled
• Performs remedial management on potentially problematic accounts
• Updates Center/Sector Head on performance of accounts being handled
• Coordinates with Legal Management Services Sector and Collection, Assets Recovery and Disposal Sector on handling of problematic accounts
• Answers queries, complaints, or requests from borrowing clients
• Attends to ExCom and Loan COMM as needed to present recommendations
