Position: SEM Account Manager
Working Hours: M-F, 10 am to 6 pm EST
Salary Range: $1,300 - $2,500 USD/month (depending on expertise)
Job Summary:
As an SEM Account Manager, you will lead client engagements to drive digital success through Google Ads.
You will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, optimizing campaigns, and ensuring high-quality
service delivery. This role demands strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary or secondary point of contact for a portfolio of B2B and eCommerce clients.
Develop and execute customized Google Ads strategies to meet client objectives.
Conduct regular check-ins, status updates, and strategy sessions with clients.
Collaborate with the team to create Quarterly Business Reviews, highlighting performance and
setting priorities for upcoming quarters.
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to maximize ROI.
Utilize tools such as Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics 4, and Looker Studio to enhance campaign
performance.
Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and provide actionable recommendations.
Write and optimize ad copy to achieve high click-through rates (CTR).
Implement A/B tests and other optimization strategies.
Generate and present regular reports on KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
Strategic Guidance:
Provide strategic recommendations and identify opportunities for growth.
Create and manage campaign budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams to address client challenges and provide solutions.
Stay updated on digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.
Client Communication and Advocacy:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their goals and
objectives.
Handle client escalations and resolve issues promptly.
Present performance results and insights in a clear, concise manner to various stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Google Ads management or related roles.
Certification in Google Ads and other relevant digital advertising platforms.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics
4, and Looker Studio.
Analytical skills to translate data into insights and actionable recommendations.
Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering results.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines.
Experience in consulting or agency environments is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a consulting or agency environment.
Familiarity with additional digital advertising platforms and tools.
